Network ROI welcomes new faces for 2015
We have hired some new talent as Network ROI enters a phase of steady growth
You may have noticed some new faces at Network ROI over the past few weeks and months.
As part of our plans moving forward and our ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible service, we’ve hired some new talent.
As well as introducing new faces, David Steel has taken on a new customer-facing role.
As Client Account Manager, David will be paying particular attention to helping you achieve more from your technology investment.
An exciting new challenge awaits David Steel
David Steel – Client Relationship Manager
With five years experience as Service Delivery Manager at Network ROI under his belt, we felt David was ideally placed to take on the new position of Client Relationship Manager. David is familiar with many of you and the technology challenges you face as your businesses grow and develop.
David’s new role will involve regular catch-ups via telephone, and email, as well as face-to-face meetings, ensuring you get the most out of Network ROI. He will also organise and facilitate regular strategy planning meetings to help ensure your investments in technology continue to work effectively and efficiently for your business.
Meet our new team members
Derek Sutherland – Service Delivery Manager
Derek has just joined the Network ROI team as our new Service Delivery Manager. A service delivery guru, Derek has been tasked with managing service desk operations, performance and output.
He will also maintain a focus on strategic changes, ensuring we maintain a high quality of service shaped to fit the requirements of your business technology needs as your company evolves and develops.
Senior Systems Engineer
Another member of our June 2015 intake, Peter joins our ranks in a senior engineering role. Peter’s knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows platforms and associated software is a valuable addition to the team.
Coming from a similar managed IT service company, Peter’s experience covers both smaller, single site clients as well as multi-site organisations and working with internal IT teams for larger companies.
Senior Systems Engineer
With a vast amount of commercial and IT experience under his belt, Ioannis (pronounced Yannis) has joined Network ROI having held senior positions with companies in his homeland of Greece and more recently, Canada. He is no stranger to Scotland though, having worked here before and being married to a Scots lass.
Ioannis has extensive experience of cloud storage solutions and computing architecture. An innovative thinker, Ioannis is an enthusiastic advocate of using IT to keep your business a step ahead of the competition.
Dimitris administers our automated remote monitoring and management tools, ensuring your systems are proactively monitored at all times. He is forever looking at ways to solve new IT problems as well as improving network security, system efficiency and stability.
Due to having an impressive scope of knowledge, Dimitris can also be found on client sites helping to deliver projects or assisting with service desk tickets.
Procurement & Administration
Alison took over from Shaun Brannan in March this year. With more than 30 years procurement experience, Alison is well versed in the processes involved when purchasing business technology on clients’ behalf.
Alison enjoys a solid relationship with our technology suppliers, and by being aware of client requirements, she is ideally placed to ensure orders and deliveries take place in a timely manner and achieve maximum value for money.
Digital Marketing Manager
Kevin joined Network ROI in May of this year as our Digital Marketing Manager. A fan of all things digital and possessing both enthusiasm and creativity, Kevin is responsible for the strategy, usage and management of all our communication tools, including website, social media, email newsletters, brochureware, document templates, etc. Additionally, Kevin is also responsible for developing the Network ROI brand.
Andrew is our newest recruit to the Service Delivery team. He will be offering remote and telephone support as well as on-site assistance when required. One to watch for the future, Andrew provides some youthful zest to the team.
Andrew is also responsible for building and setting up your new laptops, desktops and mobile devices. He makes sure they are secure and ready to work safely within your business technology environment.
Farewell Ian and Josh
We say a fond farewell to Ian Batty. Ian has been an integral part of the Network ROI team for the past eight years.
Ian is looking forward to a new challenge and we wish him all the very best for the future.
Service Delivery’s Josh O’Brien waved goodbye to Network ROI and Edinburgh in June of this year.
We wish Josh and his young family all the very best with their new life in his hometown of Wrexham.
